Anabel Aispuro is with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health where she serves as a Clinical Program Head over a program that that provides mental health services and resources to children and families involved with the Department of Children and Family Services. She came to Be Strong Families through her work with Pasadena Altadena Coalition of Transformative Leaders (PACTL), a wonderful grass roots organization that is making a difference in the lives of families in the Pasadena/Altadena area of Los Angeles.
Anabel has always believed that supporting vulnerable communities by providing opportunities to learn, grow and give back creates change one neighborhood at a time. Both Be Strong Families and PACTL share this philosophy by providing parents opportunities to learn and realize the power within them, which in turn creates stronger children, families, communities, and on and on…
