Denise Boston, PhD is the Equity and Restorative Practices Manager in the Office of Human Rights and Equity Howard County Government in Columbia, Maryland. Dr. Boston is a registered Drama Therapist and health equity consultant. Her work focuses on the intersections of traumatic grief, health disparities, and expressive arts interventions. She specializes in providing compassionate leadership, community-informed programming, and culturally responsive research which generates equitable and sustainable results.
Denise earned a BFA in Drama from the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts, an MA in Psychology and Counseling from Goddard College, and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Walden University.
